Quick and Easy Mashed Potato

Quick and Easy Mashed Potato:

Ingredients 2 cup Potato (Boiled & Peeled) 1/2 cup Butter (salted) 3/4 cup Milk Fresh Parsley Salt How to Cook?

1.Take 2 cups of boiled & peeled Potatoes. Make sure the potatoes you're using are old and starchy.

2.First, start by mashing potatoes.

3. Start mashing process in small batches or one at a time.

4.Once you start mashing, you'll notice grits in potatoes.

5.To remove all the grits and lumps pass all mashed potatoes through a sieve.

6.Do this in smaller quantities too. After passing all the potatoes through a sieve, let's start chopping Parsley. Ensure that you chop it nice and fine

7.After chopping Parsley, it's time to cook mash potatoes.

8.For that, heat 1/2 cup Butter in a pan.

9.Once Butter starts to heat up, add in 3/4 cup Milk and start mixing the potatoes.

10.Cook the potatoes till it comes together. Wait for it to form a huge lump and that's a sign that it's cooked perfectly.

11.Once everything comes together, it's time to add in finely chopped Parsley.

12.Mix it thoroughly and your Mashed Potatoes is ready to serve.


13.Top it off with extra Butter and more Parsley and enjoy it nice and warm.


2.Garlic Mashed Potato Recipe:


Garlic Mashed Potato


Ingredients

4 lbs. Yukon potatoes, peeled and quartered 1 1/3 cups whole milk (or half and half) 6 cloves garlic, crushed or minced 1 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste 8 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened, plus more to serve 1/4 cup sour cream, optional 2 Tbsp chives, to garnish


How to Cook?


1.Take 2 cups of boiled & peeled Potatoes. Make sure the potatoes you're using are old and starchy.

2.First, start by mashing potatoes.

3.Start mashing process in small batches or one at a time.

4.Once you start mashing, you'll notice grits in potatoes.

5.To remove all the grits and lumps pass all mashed potatoes through a sieve.

6.Now peel and smash garlic and transfer to the pan and add milk .

7.Place that on medium slow heat and stir it occasionally.

8.Cook until steam and then take it off from heat.

9.In a mashed potatoes ,strain the milk and add in it.

10.Add the hot milk according to your desired consistency.

11.Add 8 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened, plus more to serve ,1/4 cup sour cream, optional and add salt as well

3.Creamy Mashed Potato Recipe:

Quick and easy creamy mash potato

Ingredients:

6 Yukon Gold potatoes (or 4lbs) 2 tsp kosher salt 1 stick unsalted butter, melted 1 cup heavy cream 2 sprigs of rosemary 1 head of crushed garlic


How to Cook?

1.Peel the potatoes and place them in a bowl of cold water while working Cut potatoes into 1 inch cubes and add them to a pot of cold water Add the 2 tsp of salt to the bowl.

2.Bring potatoes to a soft boil over high heat. Once you’ve reached a boil, reduce the temp to low heat and simmer for 12 minutes (they are ready when fork-tender).

3.Drain potatoes through colander and put them back into the pot over medium-high heat and stir for 2-3 minutes (they should be dry when done).

4.Put the potatoes into a fine mesh sieve and use a spatula to gently push the potatoes down into bowl.

5.Add 1 stick of melted butter first into the potatoes and mix Add heavy cream to saucepan over medium-high heat and add rosemary and garlic (optional).

6.Simmer for a few minutes and drain out the rosemary and garlic through a sieve.

7. Add the cream to potatoes little by little and Mashed potatoes are ready.
