Supper Soft and Fluffy Cinnamon Roll


1.Supper Soft and Fluffy Cinnamon Roll

Ingredients:


DOUGH 

2½ cups all purpose flour

¼ cup sugar

2¼ teaspoons instant yeast

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup whole milk

3 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 egg

¼ cup water


FILLING

¼ cup butter soft

⅓ cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

pinch salt


CREAM CHEESE GLAZE

4 ounces cream cheese room temperature

2 tablespoons butter room temperature

¾ - 1 cup confectioner's sugar

½ teaspoon vanilla


Instructions:

 

1.For the dough, combine in a large bowl the flour, sugar, instant yeast and salt. 

2.Heat milk in a small pot over the stove or in the microwave until quite warm. 

3.Add butter and stir until melted.

4. Add vegetable oil and vanilla.

5.Cool milk mixture to lukewarm if necessary. You should barely be able to feel it when you stick your finger in it. Make a well in the dry ingredients and add milk mixture.

6.Add egg and water. Mix by hand or using stand mixer until the mixture forms a very soft, sticky dough.

7.Knead 6-8 minutes using the dough hook attachment or by hand. Add 2-3 tablespoons of flour if the dough looks too much like a thick batter, but it should still be very sticky. 

8.If the dough is very dry and easy to handle, add more water to make it sticky. Knead until it feels very smooth. 

9.Cover well with plastic wrap and proof for 1½ - 2 hours or until doubled in bulk.

10.While dough is rising, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl for the filling.

11.Once the dough has proofed, roll out into a rectangle that measures 15x10 inches. Use a small amount of flour on your work surface to prevent sticking. 

12.Spread the soft butter over entire surface of the dough, then sprinkle on the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.

13.Starting from long edge closest to you, roll dough as tightly as you can. When you reach the end, pinch the seam very well to seal.

14.Using a sharp knife or a piece of string, cut the roll into 8-12 buns.

15.Arrange evenly in a buttered parchment lined 14 x 8 inch pan and cover with plastic. Allow to rise in a warm place for another 45-60 minutes or until doubled in size.

16.Preheat oven to 375F/190C. Bake rolls for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked in the middles. 

17.Set aside to cool while making the frosting.

18.For frosting, cream together cream cheese and butter until smooth. You can do this by hand or with an electric mixer. 

19.Slowly add the powdered sugar, a couple of tablespoons at a time, creaming well after each addition.

20.Add vanilla and beat until smooth.

21.Frost cinnamon rolls while they are still slightly warm but not too hot. The frosting should not melt. 

22.Serve immediately or keep well wrapped in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

2.Quick Cinnamon Roll at Home



Quick Cinnamon Roll at Home


Ingredients:

For  the bread dough


All purpose flour/Bread flour: 3 cups 

Milk 3/4 Cup (180 g)If you don’t want to add milk, you can use plain water instead.

Unsalted Butter (softened)1/4 Cup 

1 Egg(at Room Temperature)

Sugar 2 and 1/2 tbsp 

Salt 1and 1/4 tsp

Yeast (instant /active dried yeast) 1tsp


For the filling


Soft Brown sugar (packed cup)1/2 cup 

Unsalted Butter(softened) 1/4 cup 

Cinnamon powder 2 tsp


For the Cream Cheese Frosting


Cream cheese 3 ounce 

Unsalted butter 3 tbsp

Powdered Sugar 1 cup 

Vanilla powder 1/2 tsp or vanilla extract 1 tsp

A pinch of salt to balance the sweetness

If you want more thinner frosting, you can add 1-2 tbsp milk into it


How to Make?

1.Knead the  dough on to a clean work surface and knead the dough for a few minutes(3-4 minutes)until it form a smooth dough.

2.The dough may feel sticky in the beginning, thats ok,(that’s the way it should be); you may be tempted to add more flour but don’t do that.

3.The dough will come together in about 4 minutes of kneading.

4.Shape it into a ball ; then flatten it a little and then cover it with a bowl or kitchen towel and let the dough rest on the counter for five minutes.

5.This is not for proofing the dough, but this is to let the dough sit for a few minutes so that the gluten stands will relax.

6.This resting will prevent our dough from enormous rebounding back of the dough while rolling it into a thin rectangular sheet.

7.So for the next step of shaping the rolls, first we need to roll the dough into thin sheet (1/ 4th inch thickness).

8.While rolling, keep in your mind not to roll them tightly as they need some room for them to expand while proofing and while baking.

9.Cover the pan loosely with plastic wrap and allow the rolls to rise until puffy and the rolls are touching one another; 50 to 60 minutes.

10.Bake them @ 350 F for 19-20 minutes.

11.Let the cinnamon rolls cool down for 2-3 minutes. Slather on that cream cheese frosting while the rolls are still warm.

12.Keep the butter and sugar at room temperature as it will help us to combine them easily.

13.Into a bowl add the Softened butter, cream cheese, vanilla sugar/vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to balance the sweetness.

14.Thoroughly beat until they are light in texture and pale yellow in color.

15.Then add the powdered sugar little by little beat everything together until you get a silky smooth, light cream cheese frosting.

16.You can add some milk/heavy cream if you want your cream cheese frosting a little more thin.


3.1 Minute Instant Cinnamon Roll at Home

Ingredient:

140 g (1 cup) Self Rising Flour (OR 1 cup all purpose flour + 1 1/2 tsp baking powder + pinch of salt) - 70 g Milk ( 1/4 cup + 1/2 tbsp Milk) - 40 g Softened Butter ( 3 tbsp ) Cinnamon Roll Filling: 30 g melted Butter ( 2 tbsp) 50 g Brown Sugar (1/4 cup) 1/2 tbsp Cinnamon 1/2 tbsp Cornstarch Pinch of Salt

How to make?


1.In a bowl add 140 g (1 cup) Self Rising Flour (OR 1 cup all purpose flour + 1 1/2 tsp baking powder + pinch of salt),70 g Milk ( 1/4 cup + 1/2 tbsp Milk),40 g Softened Butter ( 3 tbsp ) and mix them well.



2.Knead the dough on a large area for 3-4 minutes.


3.for filling - 30 g melted Butter ( 2 tbsp)50 g Brown Sugar (1/4 cup)
1/2 tbsp Cinnamon,1/2 tbsp Cornstarch ,Pinch of Salt ,mix them well and make a paste.


4.Roll the dough pretty thin and spread your filling on dough evenly and now roll the dough and pinch the dough well.

5.Now cut the dough into small pieces and bake the cinnamon rolls.

1 minute Instant Cinnamon Rolls are ready.
